Sweet Summer Reading Suggestions
Have you made your summer book list yet? It's time to hit the bookstores and get your reading nook ready because your friendly Sinai Akiba Academy librarians have a number of sweet suggestions for your summer reading!
Kindergarten-Grade 2
 | "Baby Monkey, Private Eye" by Brian Selznick A baby monkey has adventures as a detective and solves a series of mysteries. |
 | "A Big Mooncake for Little Star" by Grace Lin The cake that Little Star made is so delicious, but can she resist eating it? |
 | "The Cat Who Lived with Anne Frank" by David Lee Miller Mouschi the cat relates the experiences of Anne Frank and people like her. |
 | "Dreamers" by Yuyi Morales The author and her son discover how they fit into their new country with help from their local library. |
 | "A Moon for Moe and Mo" by Jane Breskin Zalben Moses and Mohammed share a picnic and learn about each other's holidays. |
 | "A Parade of Elephants" by Kevin Henkes Five elephants march from dusk to dawn, up and down, through and around. |
 | "Tiger vs. Nightmare" by Emily Tetri Tiger and her monster gather their courage to fend off a fearsome nightmare. |
Grades 3-5
