Irit Eliyahu

Judaic Studies Director
Irit Eliyahu received her Bachelor's Degree from Tel Aviv University in Jewish History and Geography, and obtained her Middle School credential and MAEd from the University of Judaism (now American Jewish University).

Prior to SAA, Irit was Director of Judaic Studies at Temple Emanuel Community Day School for 12 years. In recent years, she has been part of AJU's faculty for the Master of Education program, specializing in teacher training. Irit is a recipient of the Milken Exemplary Educator Award for her innovation in instruction and the field of education.
