One of Sinai Akiba Academy's signature programs is our after-school orchestra. For over 40 years, we've engaged students in the joy and discipline of learning an instrument, connecting with others, and performing for the school community and beyond. There are four levels of ensembles, ranging from absolute beginner to advanced. Our students enjoy numerous performance opportunities throughout the year, including formal winter and spring concerts, school assemblies, pop-up performances for special events, and field trips.

We offer four ensembles to fit our students' needs:

Prelude - Beginner level ensemble, no experience needed. Students can choose to play violin, viola, or cello.

Intermezzo - Intermediate level ensemble for students with at least one year of playing experience. String instruments, piano, and wind/percussion instruments are welcome.

Protege - Pre-advanced level ensemble for students with at least two years of playing experience. Students must know how to read music fluently. String instruments, piano, and wind/percussion instruments are welcome.

Symphony - Advanced audition-only ensemble for students with at least three years of playing experience. Students must know how to read music fluently. String instruments, piano, and wind/percussion instruments are welcome.
