Rabbi Andy Feig

Interim Head of School
Rabbi Andy Feig, a native Chicagoan, has lived and worked in Los Angeles for almost two decades. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Hebrew Studies and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and has a Master’s Degree in Jewish Studies from the University of Chicago.

Before finishing rabbinical school, Rabbi Feig worked at Milken Community High School, where he was Dean of Students and a Jewish Studies teacher. Prior to Milken, he was an administrator and teacher at Stephen S. Wise Temple Elementary School. In 2007, he was ordained as a rabbi at the Academy for Jewish Religion, California. Rabbi Feig teaches at Hebrew Union College's teacher-preparation program, DeLeT, where he mentors student teachers. Prior to his role as Interim Head of School, he was SAA's School Rabbi for 14 years.

Sinai Akiba Academy is a private Jewish day school in Los Angeles, serving students in Early Childhood through Grade 8. We also offer a variety of parenting classes and programs for children through our Parenting Center. A Sinai Temple school.
