Quick Tips for Teachers During Online Learning

As you (and perhaps your family) settle into online learning routines, here are a few things that you can do to help adjust to this new environment.
 
  1. Take a look at the Quick Tips for Parents and Students and incorporate those that are equally relevant to your return to full-time responsibilities.
  2. Revisit your own sleep/wake schedule and be sure that you are getting enough sleep.
  3. Prepare your work materials, workspace, and devices. Be sure everything is fully charged and power cords are nearby.  
  4. Be sure you have easy-to-prepare breakfast and lunch foods and healthy snacks available.
  5. Plan your exercise breaks and consider getting an exercise buddy to commit to a time and routine, so you can tune-in to together or talk to as you go.
  6. What else can you do for self-care? Listen to music? Spend a few minutes practicing mindfulness meditation? Sit outside and listen to the birds, feel the breeze ...
