Annual Giving
The Annual Giving Campaign is a partnership that exists between the school and the Sinai community to ensure an outstanding educational program for each and every student. Like all independent schools, the campaign draws support from parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty and friends who are united in their commitment to Sinai Akiba and demonstrate this by making a gift to the Annual Giving Campaign.
Quite simply, tuition alone does not sustain the level of excellence we desire for our students. Annual Giving bridges the difference between tuition and the actual cost of a Sinai Akiba education. Traditionally, Annual Giving has provided 7% of the school’s annual operating budget.
Last year, 92 percent of our parents made a gift to our Annual Giving campaign. While we strive each year to reach our goal of 100-percent parent participation in Annual Giving, we understand that our families have varying levels of giving that are comfortable for their individual circumstances. Still, we seek a high level of participation each year, exemplifying our united commitment to Sinai Akiba as a family—and as a community.
